About the Role

You’ll assist in planning and facilitating activities that support wellbeing, connection, and inclusion for group participants. This could include helping with gentle exercise, craft, music, games, cooking, outings, and morning teas—no two days are the same!

This is a 30 hour per week role - you must be available Monday to Friday.

Key duties include:

• Supporting the setup, running, and pack-down of group activities
• Assisting clients during sessions to ensure comfort and safety
• Building positive relationships with group members
• Contributing to activity planning and creative ideas
• Working closely with staff, volunteers, and community members
• Supporting transport assistance
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and community organisations to ensure coordinated and holistic support for clients.

About You:
You're a people-person with a passion for creating uplifting moments and inclusive environments.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Hold relevant qualifications in Aged Care; a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is highly regarded
• Have 1–2 years of experience in aged care, community support, or group-based program facilitation
• Be confident using technology and computer systems to support daily tasks
• Demonstrate empathy, reliability, and confidence when engaging with older people
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be organised, adaptable, and proactive in supporting day-to-day group activities
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current National Police Check and any other relevant clearances as outlined in our mandatory requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Disability Services (Yellow Card Exemption)
• Current and valid Blue Card
• Right to Work in Australia evidence
• National Police Check current and valid
• Hold a current QLD Driver’s License with a good driving record
