About the role-

As a Hook lift driver, you will be responsible for a dedicated waste route in Melbourne. This is a highly autonomous role will report to the Operations manager. We will also offer full training to upskill into Front lift and Crane truck roles with in the business. Our depot is located in Dandenong South has staff parking and amenities on site.

Operate a Hook lift waste truck, prioritizing safety and customer service.

To ensure that your driving licence is current, appropriate and free from any restriction.

To complete the pre and post trip inspections

Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.

Adhere to driver safety restrictions & fatigue management requirements.

Navigate landfills & transfer station tip off points.

The successful candidate will-

Have a valid HR licence with a clean driving record

Be physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

Pass pre-employment medical examination and drug & alcohol screening

Have the right to work in Australia

1+ years experience driving Hook lift/Front lift waste trucks is preferred

Flexibility with start times and overtime

High level of autonomy and accuracy

Be reliable and trustworthy

Experience in the waste industry would be an advantage

The successful candidate must be able to follow instructions to archive positive outcomes for our customers. A positive can-do attitude with a strong commitment to work as part of a team with a desire to learn is a advantage.
