As the Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

Helping clients in rural areas achieve positive health outcomes using new ways of delivering care.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.

Supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate

About the team:

Step into a role where your skills make a real impact — and you're supported every step of the way. At Griffith Base Hospital, our dynamic Occupational Therapy team is small but mighty, made up of dedicated professionals across a range of specialties. You'll be joining:

A highly experienced Level 3 OT leading our acute wards,

A fresh and enthusiastic new graduate OT bringing new energy to the acute space,

A part-time Level 3 OT delivering specialised outpatient cancer care and lymphoedema services,

A part-time Level 3 OT delivering specialised paediatric services,

And room for growth, with a casual position waiting to be filled.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

An in-depth understanding and ability to provide Occupational Therapy services in a curious and empathetic way

Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and with AHPRA Registration

High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team

Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise services where necessary
