PPK Mining Equipment is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The team are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of plant and equipment, tooling and consumables for the mining sector and related industries.

We have a world-class manufacturing and service center at Tomago near Newcastle, a market-leading service and support center at Port Kembla in Wollongong, a service center at Mt Thorley in the Hunter Valley coal fields, & parts distribution hub in Mackay, QLD.

The role

We are seeking a reliable and competent Electronics Assembler to join our Tomago team, helping meet key objectives and busy demand. The ideal candidate will prove to us that they have strong attention to detail with a positive attitude that will ensure our continued success.

Your main responsibilities will include:

The assembly of electronic components as per manufacturing approvals

Working in conjunction with technicians, tradespersons and supervisors to meet customer demand

Repairing electronic components

The encapsulation of electronic components

Assisting in the manufacturing and repair of electronic components

Ensuring quality control expectations are consistently met

Assisting the electronics production supervisor as required

Adhering to all safety management protocols

Qualifications, Experience & Traits

Experience that meets the main responsibilities listed (preferred but not essential)

A current NSW driver’s license

Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
