Childcare Trainee

Training Opportunity: Complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working on-site.

Role Focus: Learn while you work! You will be guided by experienced educators as you develop the skills and knowledge to become a qualified early childhood educator.

Certificate III Qualified Educator

Role Focus: Provide high-quality care and education, working closely with the children, families, and fellow educators to deliver an engaging and inclusive program.

Diploma Qualified Educator

Role Focus: Take on a leadership role in planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality educational programs. Provide mentorship to junior staff and ensure the daily operation of your room meets the centre’s values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Build nurturing, trusting, and respectful relationships with children and families.

Support children’s development through play-based learning.

Contribute to the planning and implementation of educational programs.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.

Collaborate with other educators to foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-driven environment.

Support the Christian ethos and values of the centre

About You We’re looking for enthusiastic, kind, and caring individuals who are passionate about early childhood education. The successful candidates will have:

For Trainee Position: A willingness to learn and undertake formal studies (Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care).

For Certificate III & Diploma Positions: A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification as recognised by ACECQA).

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.

The ability to foster a Christian learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
