Your New Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager to lead the launch of this flagship store. You’ll play a hands-on role in building the team, shaping the culture and delivering an outstanding customer experience that reflects the brand’s international reputation. This is a chance to grow your career while being part of a major milestone for the business in Australia.
What You’ll Get Up To
Support the Store Manager in all daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the store
Help lead, coach and motivate a new team to deliver results and exceptional service
Drive KPIs including sales, conversion and ATV, with a strong focus on customer engagement
Deliver product demonstrations and provide knowledgeable advice to inspire customers
Assist with rostering, stock management, VM, compliance and reporting
Step up to cover the Store Manager when required, building your leadership capability
Experience Checklist
Previous retail leadership experience (ASM, 2IC or Supervisor level) within homewares, lifestyle or customer-focused retail
Strong sales skills with a record of achieving KPIs and targets
Experience leading or training a small team, with a passion for people development
A customer-first approach, comfortable delivering demonstrations and engaging conversations
Good operational knowledge across rostering, stock handling, VM and compliance
Enthusiasm for joining a new store where adaptability and initiative are key
