Heyder & Shears is looking for a Star Kitchen Hand

Working with our kitchen team you’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly!

Your skills will include:

Maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment at all times

Washing dishes, cookware, and utensils to keep service flowing

Following strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times

Assisting in basic food preparation – washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients

Organising supplies and helping with inventory management

Ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling procedures

Receiving and storing deliveries following food safety guidelines

Supporting event setup and breakdown as needed

Providing general assistance to the kitchen team as required

A team player with a strong work ethic

ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Good communication skills

previous kitchen experience preferred (not essential)

willingness to learn & take direction
