About the role

Fence this and Landscape' is seeking a highly skilled Fencer to join our team in Canberra, ACT. As a Fencer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of fencing, ensuring our customers' properties are secure and well-maintained. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company within the Building Trades industry.

What you'll be doing

Constructing and installing a range of fencing types, including timber, metal, and chain-link fencing etc.

Collaborating with the landscaping team to integrate fencing with other outdoor features

Ensuring all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant industry standards and regulations

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fencer or within a similar role in the Building Trades industry

Strong practical and technical skills in the installation and repair of various fencing types

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address any challenges that may arise on the job

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

All Construction cards for commercial sites; White card, Asbestos and Silica Cards.
