Our scope of work includes servicing, overhauls and maintenance on commercial, civil, mining and maritime equipment.

About You

We are currently seeking experienced, motivated and driven mechanics to join our team in Carnarvon to assist with Workshop and Field Based operations. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience working on a variety of equipment, ranging from:

Commercial vehicles

On-Highway road transport and related equipment

Civil and mining machinery including excavators, dozers, graders and loaders

Cranes, ranging from frannas to crawler cranes

Marine equipment such as recreational and commercial vessels (trawlers & dredges)

Ancillary equipment including lighting plant and generators

Experience with hydraulics and electrical components (preferred)

You will be responsible for:

Performing mechanical diagnostics on the above machinery

Overhauls of transmission components, engines, steering, gearboxes and differential systems

Reading and understanding service manuals and procedures

Utilitise service inspection forms to diagnose and detect defective components

Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance

Attending break downs

Use of scan tools to perform diagnostics

Perform inspections for roadworthy verification

Demonstrating strong problem solving skills, attention to detail & working independently

Required Qualifications

Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)

Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair

HR/MR driver’s license (preferred but not essential)

Forklift Licence (preferred)

Unlimited right to work in Australia
