Your new role:
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will support occupational therapists and allied health professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is hands-on, combining clinical assistance and administrative support to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred services.
- Deliver patient interventions under the supervision of allied health professionals.
- Assist with treatment programs, patient care, and safe handling.
- Maintain, monitor, and prepare therapy equipment and resources.
- Support accurate record-keeping and contribute to team communication.
About you:
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate individual who enjoys working in a healthcare team and is committed to delivering quality patient care.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, with the ability to work within scope of practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support patients and colleagues.
- Good time management and ability to prioritise workload under direction.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (highly regarded but not mandatory).

We serve an estimated population of 1 million people, 23 per cent of Queensland’s population. We employ more than 10,000 staff and have an annual operating budget of $1.6 billion.
