We are searching for a Casual Storeperson/Driver to join our Warehouse team - Immediate Start!

Weststate Seafoods is a thriving family business, operating in the seafood and food service distribution space since 1988. Weststate Seafoods offer commercial seafood and food service needs and provide a reliable distribution service Australia wide. We supply to a diverse customer base, including some of Perth’s finest restaurants, hotels, clubs and hospitals along with seafood retailers and wholesalers.

What we are offering our next Storeperson/ Driver

Competitive industry rates.

Approx 25 hours per week.

Early morning shifts - keep your afternoons free.

Your role and impact

Picking and packing orders.

Safe loading of vehicles with the correct items for delivery.

Timely delivery of goods to customers on specific routes.

Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.

Use bar-coding systems and hand-held scanning devices.

Maintaining stock levels and participate in stock takes as required.

Safely operate a standard forklift to move incoming and outgoing orders.

Maintain the cleanliness of delivery vehicle, work area and the warehouse.

Engaging in team training and meetings (paid time).

What you need

Essential: current LR, MR or HR license.

Current Forklift Ticket and Order Picker Ticket (LO) or willingness to obtain within 4 weeks of employment.

Availability to work early morning shifts, as early as 4:30am starts.

Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to listen and deliver on instructions.

Australian resident or relevant working rights (visa-holders residing in Australia are welcome to apply).
