About the role
- Advanced Clinical Practice: Perform MRI and CT imaging with autonomy, demonstrating professional expertise, clinical judgment, and competencies across complex modalities while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to quality improvement (QI/QA), WHS & radiation safety initiatives, and continuous service enhancement.
- Patient-Centered Care: Deliver high-quality patient care with sensitivity to patient needs and psychology, ensuring accurate documentation, confidentiality, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Professional Development & Leadership: Engage in ongoing CPD, support student education, mentor junior staff, and contribute to departmental in-service training, research, and evidence-based practice.
- Team Engagement & Impact: Work closely with colleagues across the department to enhance patient outcomes, share knowledge, and foster a supportive, learning-focused workplace.
About you
- Qualified & Licensed: Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent), current AHPRA registration, and a valid NSW EPA Radiation License.
- Clinical Expertise: Significant experience in Medical Imaging, with strong knowledge and hands-on skills in CT and MRI modalities.
- Collaborative & Independent: Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, inspiring and motivating colleagues while contributing to shared departmental goals.
- Professional Excellence: Committed to best practice, with proven ability in complex problem-solving, decision-making, and applying quality improvement, risk management, and WH&S principles.
- Communication & Learning: High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, strong computer literacy, and active engagement in continuing professional development.
