The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) will provide the clinical leadership for Alpine Health at Myrtleford. As a leader of the team, the NUM is integral to the coordination of clinical care and operational management of the unit, including staffing, change management and safer care outcomes.
Alpine Health provides a nurturing environment and good support for professional development. Positioned in the heart of Alpine country which boasts skiing, and scenic walking/hiking trails in our local area, including the majestic Mt. Hotham and Falls Creek.
We are close to the world-class Gourmet Food and Wine Region, including King Valley, Rutherglen, Glenrowan and Milawa.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with the following experience:
Demonstrated leadership experience;
Passion for nursing;
Ability to work collaboratively and consultatively as part of a multidisciplinary team;
Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations;
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-level clinical expertise and advice in your specialty, help mentor junior and new staff and drive overall improvements to the safety and quality of your unit.
