About the role

Millers Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in charge to join our dedicated team in Roseville Chase, NSW. This is a part-time position with the primary focus on providing pharmacy services to nursing homes and aged care facilities. You will also support the day-to-day operations of our community pharmacy, delivering excellent service to walk-in customers. Full time position can be considered.

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services to nursing homes while also providing exceptional care to our walk-in customers.

Junior pharmacists with a strong interest in aged care or pharmacy leadership are encouraged to apply. Training and mentoring will be provided.

What you'll be doing

High-quality clinical services to aged care/nursing homes

Managing medication supply and clinical services for aged care/nursing home clients

Conducting medication reviews, liaising with prescribers and aged care staff

Overseeing dispensary workflow, stock control, and regulatory compliance

Providing expert advice and excellent customer service to front-of-shop and community patients

Supervising and supporting the pharmacy team.

Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and reporting for all services

Collaborating with healthcare providers including GPs, RNs, and allied health professionals

Contributing to process improvements and helping implement best practices

Maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards

What we're looking for

Unconditional registered pharmacist with APHRA.

Strong clinical knowledge.

Experience or interest in nursing home services and community engagement

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach

Ability to lead a team

Proficiency in dispensing systems (e.g. Z software, Webstercare), with good attention to detail. Training can be provided.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
