We have the pleasure to recruit for our clients prestigious contract in their Open Space/Parks and Gardens division based in the CBD and City of Port Phillip. These current vacancies include: Qualified & highly experienced Gardeners, Mower Operators, Turf Curators, Parks & Infrastructure Asset Team Members.

These positions require you to work within a highly experienced Horticultural team, maintaining some of Melbourne's most beautiful and highly regarded gardens and parklands. What an incredible opportunity!

Core responsibilities (role dependant)

High end garden maintenance

Herbicide application

Front deck/zero turn mowers

Irrigation & water feature maintenance

Brushcutting

Playground, furniture & signage maintenance

Skills and experience

Commercial Parks & Gardens & Horticulture experience-highly desirable

Relevant Horticulture/Turf industry certificates/qualifications -highly desirable

Knowledge of herbicide application techniques-highly desirable

A desire to work in the outdoors

Fit, healthy and work well within a team

Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic

Strong commitment to and working knowledge of safe work practices

Current Victorian Drivers Licence

Any certificates in Horticulture/Arboriculture desirable but not essential
