The Company This highly regarded consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of Australian consultancy experience to join their growing team in Orange, NSW.

The Role
As a senior member of the team, you’ll take ownership of complex civil design projects, manage client relationships, and mentor junior engineers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the preparation of engineering design plans and documentation
• Liaising with local councils and authorities for design approvals
• Overseeing tender preparation and project management
• Providing technical input from concept through to detailed design
• Managing procurement, contract administration, and construction monitoring
• Supporting business development and client engagement

About You
You’ll bring a strong technical foundation and leadership skills, along with:

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in Australia or NZ
• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in infrastructure, transport, or land development projects
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff
• Familiarity with civil construction methods and machinery
• Proficiency in engineering design software and interpreting test results
