My client is seeking an experienced Temporary Facilities Manager for an ongoing assignment overseeing key commercial building assets in South Australia.

Assignment Details:

• Dates: Immediate start
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Adelaide CBD
• Assets: Multiple multi-story commercial buildings - HVAC, electrical, fire, security, and building intelligence systems
• Support: Reporting to Associate Director of EOS

Role & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and responding to maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire, security)
• Managing contractor performance and ensuring safety compliance
• Maintaining excellent tenant relations with a high level of customer service
• Monitoring and managing property data (energy, water, waste)
• Developing and maintaining documentation and standard procedures
• Procuring and tendering contractors for PPM contracts and various projects
• Responding to after-hours emergencies as required

What You Bring:

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-story commercial assets and their systems
• Strong knowledge of building services, fire systems, and building intelligence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A proactive, “can-do,” achievement-oriented mindset
• Flexible team player with practical problem-solving abilities
• Computer literacy and adaptability with new technologies

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

• Implement all relevant national, state, and local legislative requirements
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits
• Participate in account, site, and client committees/meetings as required
• Ensure completion of statutory inspections and testing for the sites
• Oversee compliance across assigned assets
