The Role

We are seeking a high-level Electrician with a strong background in commercial and architectural residential construction to step into a Technical Supervisor / Leading Hand position. This role involves managing projects and small teams, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. The ideal candidate is someone who is technically skilled, highly organized, and ready to grow into a managerial role within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Project Supervision: Lead and oversee electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery and strict adherence to quality standards.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor small teams, including apprentices, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.

Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on support for complex installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across commercial and high-end residential projects.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with regulations, codes, and best safety practices.

Problem-Solving: Diagnose electrical issues, implement solutions, and make critical decisions under pressure.

Client Communication: Liaise with clients, builders, and stakeholders to deliver outstanding service and maintain strong relationships.

Project Coordination: Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting for multiple projects.

Continuous Growth: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to enhance company capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

A-Grade Electrical License (essential).

Victorian Driver’s License (essential).

Proven experience in commercial projects and high-end architectural residential construction.

Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
