An opportunity has been created at our exceptional Underwood Service situated on the South Side of Brisbane; our Underwood Service has state-of-the-art facilities with an onsite swimming pool, and we deliver a Music, Sports and Science program. Our team is growing, and we are looking for the next superstars to join the team.

At Expeditions, you work alongside a fantastic Director who has created a collaborative, supportive and fun working environment for their team of Educators. Our Expeditions Underwood service is supported by a team of Educators who have created a consistent and stable environment for the children, families and community.

We are looking for a Diploma Qualified Educator to Lead on of our rooms.

The position encompasses the following:

Providing quality childcare, supervision and support to the children, families and other staff members at our service

Ensuring the centre is compliant with all state legislation and NQF standards

Delivering a program compliant with the learning frameworks and based around the children's interests

Delivering consistent high-quality care and presentation to all work practices

Building and maintaining strong relationships with centre staff, parents, children and the wider community

To be successful in your application, you must have the following:

Diploma Qualification

Current Working with Children Check

Police Check (less than 3mths old)

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR qualifications

Experience implementing the various learning frameworks (specifically the EYLF)

Ability to provide a rich and stimulating environment to all children

Professional attitude

Effective and competent communicator

Empathy, motivation, inspiration and a genuine love for the education of children

Ability to work with a supportive network, i.e. Director, Assistant Director, Educational Leader and external management company

A high attention to detail, ability to provide an organised room environment and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
