About the role

Casual opportunity to work with the Prescribed CANnabis and Stimulant (P-CANS) research team to develop and implement a database that will systematically store data that has been extracted from multiple health record systems. The role will also be responsible for training and guiding Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital-clinicians on the project and contribute to other activities as required (e.g., data analysis, preparing dissemination outputs).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary research team to deliver outcomes on a funded research project.
• Develop and implement a RedCap database for data extraction from multiple health data systems.
• Develop and coordinate training to RBWH-based clinicians who will be extracting data for the project, including ongoing support, to ensure that data extraction from health systems and then input into the RedCap database is both standardised and of high quality.
• Oversee quality assurance of the data extraction and recording in the RedCap database, along with specific reporting on data quality and adherence.
