Join Our Team as Assistant Coordinator – Keperra OSHC

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced educator to help lead the daily operations of our lively and vibrant Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program at St William’s Catholic School in Keperra.

About the role:

  • Permanent, part-time role (37 hours/week), Monday to Friday, with split shifts
  • OSHC service for up to 195 children offering:
  • Flexible, child-led program celebrating curiosity, creativity, and culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Coordinator with day-to-day service operations
  • Support program planning, delivery, and documentation
  • Help with staff rostering and supervision
  • Manage administrative and financial tasks, including fee collection
  • Contribute to delivering a high-quality, inclusive educational program
  • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure positive outcomes for children and families
  • Participate in professional and personal development activities
  • Consent to act as the Responsible Person on site in the Coordinator’s absence
  • Promote the service within the local community in line with Centacare Child Care Services’ Vision, Mission, and Values

Job Requirements:

  • An ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
  • Experience in the education and care of children.
  • Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
  • Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
