Need a casual HR truck driver at Kong Freight driving the brand new Iveco SWAY 14 pallet tautliner

As an HR truck driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight across the brisbane and Gold Coast area. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the transport and logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

Operate a heavy rigid truck to pick up and deliver freight to various locations within Brisbane and Gold Coast area.

Ensure all freight is handled with care and delivered securely and on time

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain the truck in good working order

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety procedures

Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the delivery process

Assist with loading and unloading of freight as required very rarely

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and provide updates to the dispatch team

What we're looking for

A current heavy rigid truck licence (HR) and a clean driving record

Strong knowledge of road rules and a commitment to safe driving practices

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items

Flexible availability to work public holidays
