About the Role
As a Food Services Assistant with E4 Recruitment, you’ll be assisting with essential food preparation and service across aged care facilities in the Albury Wodonga region. You’ll play a vital role in assisting kitchens across the region when they really need you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation and plating
• Serving meals to residents in accordance with dietary requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting food safety and infection control practices
• Collaborating with kitchen and care staff to ensure a positive dining experience

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience aged care preferred.
• Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations as required by aged care legislation.
• Ability to follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Friendly and patient attitude when working with aged care residents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Police Check (within 12 months).
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
• Completion of a Food Safety Supervisor certificate or equivalent.
• Compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, including safe food handling and infection prevention.
• Ability to comply with mandatory workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.
