About the role:

As the successful applicant, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Manage the client journey from beginning to end, this includes ensuring that their books, reporting and compliance management are upto date;

Posses excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will maintain direct communication with clients;

Be excellent in the use of Xero and a current Xero advisor and experienced with the use of XPM including all other aspects of Xero;

Prepare and lodge the required reporting for a variety of business structures including Activity Statements, TPAR, Fuel Tax Credits, Income Tax Returns.

Review and analyse data and financial statements for a variety of business structures and advise clients accordingly;

Assess risk exposure to High Net Worth Individual clients, complex Family Group structure and develop strategy to mitigate risk & place the client in the best tax position;

Attend to all client ad hoc compliance management requirements;

Assist the associates with the preparation of technical tax compliance reviews;

About You as the candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Accounting qualification & willing to or currently undertaking the CA program or near completion;

Minimum 3-5 years experience in public practice including experience in a variety of trusts including SMSFs;

Excellent knowledge & experience in the use of MYOB, Xero & QuickBooks;

Must be a Xero advisor;

Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills

Solid technical knowledge of accounting & taxation

Time management, problem-solving & research skills

A 'can do' attitude & Team Player with attention to detail

Strong Decision-Making Skills
