Toybox Community Child Care Centre is a not for profit organisation, operating for over 30 years in regional South Australia. Toybox is licensed to care for 80 children daily and operates 50 weeks of the year.
Our Centre requires a talented, creative and motivated early childhood teacher to join our collaborative team to develop and deliver exceptional programs and learning experiences for our children.
Applicants should be genuinely interested in making a long term and positive contribution to the care and development of children at our Centre.
Required attributes and qualifications:
Degree in Education- must be an Early Childhood qualification (or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA).
Working with Children Check (Child-related screening).
Current first aid certificate (HLTAID004).
Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN) training.
Current Teachers Registration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in partnership with families and Educators.
Sound knowledge & understanding of the EYLF & the NQF.
Be an active team player who has strong initiative & a capacity to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to multi-task effectively & efficiently.
An understanding and commitment to emergent curriculum and innovation, and natural play.
Undertake programming, portfolios, documentation of observations & evaluations.
Maintain a high-quality standard of care throughout the Centre.
Ability and willingness to mentor other staff.
High focus placed on safety and care in educational setting.
