About the role

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at Tootsies Shoes' in Maroochydore, Queensland. As a casual Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our busy shoe store.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience

Providing knowledgeable product recommendations and advice to customers

Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments accurately

Maintaining store presentation and visual merchandising standards

Restocking and organizing merchandise as needed

Adhering to store policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably in the fashion or footwear industry

Minimum of 6-12 months experience in retail or customer service

Ability to climb a ladder and kneel down to assist customers

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

A passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Availability to work mixed weekday and weekend shifts as required

Must be an Australian citizen with full work rights
