The Engagement Manager role.
Engagement Managers are the face of Intellischool to our customers. By supporting schools to get the most from Intellischool, you’ll directly contribute to better teaching, learning, and wellbeing outcomes for students around the world.
This role is ideally suited to former teachers or school staff who are looking to leverage their classroom and school experience in a new, impactful way.
A day in the life of an Engagement Manager at Intellischool.
There’s no such thing as a normal day in a startup, so your time at Intellischool will be widely varied. However, here’s some of the things you can expect to be doing regularly.
Acting as the champion for our customers.
Establishing and growing strong customer relationships, and remaining accountable for customer happiness throughout their entire journey.
Acting as a customer advocate with a focus on continually improving the customer experience.
Working closely with technical team members to address and resolve customer issues as proactively as possible.
Guiding schools to integrate our platform into daily practice in ways that improve teaching, learning, and student wellbeing.
Coordinating customer and Partner queries with the Technical Support and Product teams, closely monitoring progress and keeping stakeholders informed at each step.
Proactively seeking customer feedback, directly applying feedback where possible, and relaying insights to team members to continually improve.
Working closely with the Technical Support and Product teams to guide customers through the onboarding process.
Designing and facilitating engaging professional learning sessions for teachers and school leaders, both online and face-to-face.
Helping create practical resources that support teachers in the classroom.
What you'll need for success.
Experience working with educators and in the K-12 education sector - applicants with teaching experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Exceptional skills in cultivating relationships.
Exemplary organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
An empathetic, customer-first mindset, with an appreciation for the kinds of situations faced by schools on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you need to be comfortable and confident having all sorts of conversations with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a focus on combining forces to reach the ideal outcome for all stakeholders.
The ability to quickly learn and adapt in the face of regularly evolving product features, and to use this knowledge in training and to triage customer issues.
Confidence in coaching school staff - from leadership through to classroom teachers - on all aspects of our platform to support best practice.
Applicants with strong education technology skills - particularly an understanding of the challenges schools face in rolling out new platforms - will be highly regarded.
The ability to quickly learn and adapt in the face of regularly evolving product features, and to use this knowledge in training and to triage customer issues.

We offer flexibility in where we work, but ask that staff work from our office in Carlton for a minimum of 40% of their week.
Your remuneration opportunity.
We offer competitive salaries to attract the best talent. The OTE salary guide for this role is A$85,075 to A$103,895 (excluding superannuation), commensurate with knowledge, aptitude, and experience.

At the conclusion of the six-month probationary period, this position is eligible to join our Employee Share Option Program, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to earn shares in our company. Share options for this role will be awarded based on both length of service and performance milestones.
