About the role

Join the dynamic team at Pawfect Pooches Dog Grooming as a part-time Dog Groomer. This role is based in Mooloolaba, QLD and will see you working alongside a passionate team of pet care professionals to provide high-quality grooming services to our canine clients.

What you'll be doing

Providing expert grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs of all breeds and sizes

Assessing the needs of each dog and customizing grooming plans accordingly

Ensuring a positive and stress-free experience for all dogs in your care

Maintaining a clean and organized grooming area

Providing advice to clients on proper pet care and grooming techniques

Adhering to all health, safety, and animal welfare standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a dog groomer (preferably at least 12 months, however willing to take on a groomer that needs a little more training), with a strong understanding of different dog breeds and their grooming needs

Minimum of 6 months or less previous dog grooming experience is acceptable for this position

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with both canine and human clients

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality grooming standards

Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Certification or training in dog grooming, or a willingness to obtain relevant qualifications
