About the role

HopePoint Christian School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary PDHPE Teacher to join our committed teaching team in a permanent full-time (or part-time negotiable) position starting in Term 1, 2026.

Based in Georges Hall, NSW, this role involves teaching PDHPE across the primary school, leading sporting programs, and providing RFF (Release from Face-to-Face) lessons for class teachers. It may involve other teaching responsibilities as required. It’s an exciting opportunity to positively shape the health, wellbeing, and physical development of our students.

What you'll be doing

Plan and deliver dynamic PDHPE programs that promote physical literacy, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits.

Lead sporting activities, carnivals, and events that encourage student participation and school spirit.

Provide high-quality RFF lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum and the school’s educational vision.

Create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students can succeed and thrive.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.

Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to strengthen whole-school wellbeing initiatives.

Engage in ongoing professional development to continually refine your teaching practice.

Model and uphold the school’s Christian values, contributing to the life and ministry of the school community.

What we're looking for

A recognised teaching qualification and current accreditation to teach in New South Wales.

A passion for PDHPE, sport, and student wellbeing, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

Organisational skills to coordinate events and manage diverse programs.

A committed Protestant Christian actively involved in a local church.

Both graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
