About the Role

Mader Group is hiring experienced Underground HV/Auto Electricians to join our team working on mobile and fixed plant equipment across key mining sites nationwide. If you're looking for flexibility, top rates, and exposure to industry-leading gear – this is the role for you.

You'll carry out diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on electrical systems critical to underground operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Diagnosing and repairing HV and auto-electrical faults on underground mobile and fixed equipment

Maintaining switchgear, lighting, wiring, and control systems

Supporting equipment reliability and availability

Following site safety and electrical compliance standards

Equipment You'll Work On

Loaders (CAT R1700/R2900, Sandvik LH series)

Trucks (CAT AD, Sandvik, Epiroc)

Drill Rigs (Sandvik DD421, Epiroc Boomer)

Charge-Up & Agi Trucks

Ancillary & Fixed Plant: lighting plants, pump stations, switch rooms, substations

What You’ll Need

Trade-qualified Auto Electrician or HV Electrician

Underground mining or heavy industry experience (advantageous)

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

C Class licence (HR or HV switching tickets desirable)

Commitment to safety and quality work
