Videographer / Photographer (with Editing Skills)

$70,000 - $85,000 base depending on experience + super | Work From Home + On-Site Shoots | Equipment & Internet Provided

We’re hiring a talented videographer/photographer with strong shooting skills and solid editing ability.

This role is about capturing great images — both photo and video — and delivering professional, creative content for a wide variety of clients.

You’ll also handle editing across both disciplines, with support from our senior editor/producer, who manages complex edits and will help you grow into more advanced work over time.

It’s a varied, flexible role with real creative input. You’ll shoot for corporates, not-for-profits, schools and creative/ad agencies — no two weeks will look the same.

The Role

Full-time with flexible hours

When not out on shoots, you’ll work from home (we cover internet + provide gear)

Collaborate with our founder, senior producer/editor, and national freelance crew

Lead photography & videography on shoots (corporate, education, lifestyle, events)

Edit both photos and videos to a professional standard

Travel occasionally for interstate/regional shoots (all expenses covered)

What You’ll Be Doing

Videography

Filming interviews, corporate stories, social content, and brand videos

Shooting with Canon C70s, R5s, gimbals, lighting setups, drones and professional audio (lavs, booms, shotguns)

Running one or two person crew shoots — directing talent, liaising with clients, and producing while shooting

Photography

Events, headshots, lifestyle/commercial campaigns, and occasional architectural/interior work

Confident directing people for headshots and capturing authentic moments at events

Skilled in using flash and strobe lighting as well as natural light (studio and on-location setups)

Editing photos in Lightroom/Photoshop — colour correction, exposure, cropping, and retouching

Editing

Video editing in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve — cutting, colour correction, sound mixing, graphics/titles

Photo editing in Lightroom & Photoshop — maintaining consistent style and polish across projects

Backing up, prepping, and exporting content for delivery

Opportunity to take on more advanced edits over time with guidance and collaboration

You’ll Need

Strong photography and videography skills (both are equally important)

Experience with cameras, lighting, audio, and gimbals (Canon/DJI/Aputure or similar)

Photo editing confidence (Lightroom & Photoshop)

Competence in Premiere Pro or Resolve (intermediate level or above preferred)

Professional, client-facing communication skills

Based in Brisbane (or nearby) — for shoots and occasional gear pickup/drop-off

Driver’s licence

Suitable transport (e.g. a car or SUV with enough room for gear)

Willingness to work varied hours (some long shoot days, travel as needed)

Have (or able to obtain) a blue card/working with children check (we'll pay for it)
