About the role

We are searching for a fully qualified butcher to join our award-winning team at our Mermaid Waters store who enjoys working with, preparing and selling premium meat brands and gourmet value-added lines. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated passionate individual who is prepared to move with and adapt to industry and consumer trends. Ex Supermarket Butcher's and motivated Second-Third Year Apprentice's encouraged to apply. All applicants will be confidential. Strong spoken English skills are essential for this role to ensure clear communication with both customers and team members.

Skills and Experience Required

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual with the following skills:

Fully qualified butcher or second-third year apprentice who enjoys working with premium brands and is passionate about the meat industry

Exceptional customer service and hygiene practices

Excellent communication skills - Strong spoken English skills are essential for this role to ensure clear communication with both customers and team members.

Able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Reliable and hard working
