About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar and Gaming Attendant to join our team at the D'Aguilar Hotel in D'Aguilar, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Bar and Gaming Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests while ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the hotel's bar and gaming areas.

What you'll be doing

• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assisting customers with gaming machines and ensuring adherence to responsible gambling practices
• Maintaining a clean, well-stocked and organized bar and gaming area
• Effectively handling cash and electronic payments
• Reporting any issues or incidents to management as required
• Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing and gaming regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or gaming industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in cash handling and electronic payment systems
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certifications
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
