Trojan Freight is a Newcastle based transport company who specialise in transport of shipping containers and dangerous goods. We are looking for experienced MC drivers. Previous A-Double experience will be highly desirable.

The role will include but not limited to:

• Transport of shipping containers and dangerous goods loads to specified locations.
• Carrying out vehicle routine checks and maintenance.
• Driving various types of trailers.
• Operate a container side loader (experience ideal, but not necessary).
• Maintain your RMS log book to correct regulations.
• Completing basic consignment note and mass management paperwork.

The successful applicant will need the following skills and experience:

• Current MC heavy vehicle drivers license
• Previous B-Double or A-Double experience
• Good driving record
• A can do attitude.

The role will be a casual basis with expected work of 5 days per week and weekend work is available, permanant work available after probation period for the right applicant. You will be required to do overnight trips and use of truck sleeper cab. Driver will be required to carry out deliveries all around NSW and some interstate if required.

Applicants with previous experience operating a side loader handling shipping containers, A-Double experience and a current DG license will be highly regarded when applying for this position, but not essential.
