We have multiple entry level opportunities for Cellar Hand positions for the upcoming Vintage Season starting December 2025 - January 2026 at a popular winery, this business is an industry leading Australian global winemaking business located in the Barossa Valley.

Duties Include:

• Maintain product quality throughout all cellar operations and maintain compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Production and processing duties such as operatng crushing and pressing machinary, wine transfers and bottiling, racking, filtiration, clarification, sanitation, barrel management and genral cleaning
• Work with the cellar and with the winemaking team to ensure product quality and production schedules are met
• A cellar hand, or cellar worker, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a winery's cellar. Their duties are hands-on and physically demanding, and they are crucial to the winemaking process
• Monitoring and record keeping

What you need:

We are searching for people who are motivated, reliable, team-oriented and passionate about a career in the wine industry.

• Computer literate
• Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Experience working in the agriculture/wine industry is an advantage, but not essential
• Forklift license is an advantage, but not essential
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 17.5kg
• Ability to pass a pre-employment and drug & alcohol testing
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, 6 days per week
  

On offer are morning (7AM - 3PM), afternoon (3PM - 11PM) and night shifts (11PM - 7AM) 5 days per week.
Which will progress into 12 hour Day (7AM - 7PM) and Night shifts (7PM - 7AM) over a 6 day working week.

Please note that the vintage period will be December 2025 - May 2026 weather dependent.
