What you’ll do:

Lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies, plans, and policies.

Maintain a financially sustainable, data-driven asset management system.

Manage the asset register with accurate condition, GIS, and financial data.

Coordinate annual renewal planning and 10-year investment programs.

Oversee asset data collection and condition assessments.

Provide expert advice and reporting on asset performance and lifecycle management.

Drive system improvements, training, and process documentation.

Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across Council.

What you’ll bring:

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline

Proven experience in developing Asset Management Plans and managing asset systems

Strong skills in GIS and asset data analysis

Experience with capitalisation, asset valuation, and long-term investment planning

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Proactive, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Technology One desirable
