Graduate Architect/Architectural Technician – Boutique Studio | 4-Day Week | Sydney-Based

Join a boutique architecture studio in Sydney renowned for its beautifully detailed residential homes, thoughtful multi-residential developments, and refined commercial projects. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Graduate Architect to become part of a highly collaborative, design-led team that values craft, creativity, and integrity.

This Permanent part-time role offers a 4-day work week with every Monday off, promoting genuine work-life balance within a productive and supportive studio culture. You’ll work across all phases of projects and a variety of typologies, with the chance to contribute meaningfully from concept through to completion.

Role: Graduate Architect – Boutique Architecture Studio
Location: Inner Sydney
Employment Type: Permanent part-time (4 days per week, office-based – Mondays off)

Minimum Requirements:

Master of Architecture

3–6 years post-graduate experience in local Australian architecture practice

Proven experience across all phases of bespoke residential, multi-residential, and commercial projects

Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential

Full working rights in Australia – Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required

Currently based in Sydney, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

Work across all stages of design, from early concept through to documentation and delivery

Produce high-quality design and documentation using ArchiCAD

Engage with consultants and team members to ensure cohesive project coordination

Contribute to design reviews and problem-solving across different project typologies

Maintain a strong attention to detail and commitment to design integrity

Take initiative and ownership of tasks within a small, hands-on team environment

Skills & Experience:

3–6 years architectural experience in Australia, ideally within boutique or design-focused studios

Strong portfolio of bespoke residential and multi-residential projects, especially working on DA's through to construction documentation

Deep understanding of Australian standards, codes, and planning requirements

Proficiency in ArchiCAD with confidence in producing documentation packages

Strong design sensibility and technical capability

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude
