They are now seeking an Immediately AvailableCollections Officer to join their finance team on a temp to perm basis. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively managing outstanding debt, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring the business maintains a healthy cash flow position.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Proactively contacting customers to follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate repayment solutions
• Responding to inbound requests and queries from both internal stakeholders and external customers - mixture of calls and emails
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through clear and professional communication
• Developing and implementing payment plans that deliver positive outcomes for both the customer and business
• Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions, payment plans, and allocations
• Preparing and issuing final notices where required
• Processing and allocating customer payments in a timely and accurate manner

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

• Strong experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable with a focus on debt management for 3+ years
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to diffuse difficult conversations
• Proven ability to build trust and maintain positive customer relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• A collaborative team player with a customer service focus
