Dragline and Excavator Operators – 7:7 (Clermont)

Minecon Recruitment have partnered with a highly reputable Queensland based, Mining and Maintenance organisation to assist with building their high performing team. This contractor has a very strong presence within Queensland and are seeking dedicated and safety driven employees to join their fast-growing internal team.

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a record of working safely and are commitment to safe working practices set by the contractor. You will be accountable for your actions and also display a willingness to learn new skills and to work to the best of your ability. Along with a commitment to as part of a team to achieve business objectives and the ability to work shift work.

Machinery on-site:

Excavators: Hitachi 3600/7, Hitachi 3600/5, Liebherr 9400

Dragline: Bucyrus 1370 Dragline

7:7 Roster, 12 hour shifts (Wed to Tue)

DIDO Positions

Ongoing and stable employment

Dragline Operator commencement date: 10th September 2025

Excavator Operators: Numerous opportunities and start dates available

Excavator Operator pay rate: $84.71

Dragline Operator pay rate: $103.13

Accommodation provided at SPQ, which is 15 minutes away from site

Bus provided from the accommodation to site

Position requirements:

Suitable candidates must have a minimum 12 month’s experience operating relevant machinery: Hitachi 3600/7, Hitachi 3600/5, Liebherr 9400 OR Bucyrus 1370

Valid Drivers licence

Skills list signed by SSE or evidence

Standard 11 Certificate

Coal Board Medical

Proof of Australian working rights

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and undergo Drug and Alcohol assessments prior to commencement
