About the role

Airflite Pty Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Flight Instructor to join our team in Jandakot, WA. As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality training and instruction to our student pilots, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and expertise to become safe and competent aviators. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding aviation environment.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting theoretical and practical flight training sessions, covering a range of topics including aircraft operation, navigation, and emergency procedures
• Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress and training activities
• Ensuring the safety of all flight operations and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Collaborating with the wider aviation team to continuously improve training programs and processes

What we're looking for

• A Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or higher, with a valid Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) with Grade 1 or 2 training endorsement.
• 500 hours initial flight training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively teach and mentor students
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address training issues
• A deep understanding of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and best practices
• A passion for aviation and a commitment to delivering exceptional training outcomes
• Multi Engine Class Rating Training Endorsement*
• Instrument Rating Training Endorsement*

* Return of Service Obligation agreements can be offered to suitably experienced applicants to achieve these requirements.

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Instructor Rating Training Endorsement
• NVFR Rating
• NVFR Rating Training Endorsement
• Working with Children Check
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
