THE ROLE:

Mount Isa based

Rostered Positions – Residential & FIFO roles available

OEM/Dealer Technical Training

Perform services, maintenance & repairs – includes (but not limited to) rebuilds, components & maintenance activities

Provide technical support and mentoring apprentices

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Trade Qualified in Heavy Diesel Fitting or similar (Cert III Mechanical Engineering)

Current Manual Driver’s Licence (or willing to obtain Manual)

Heavy machinery experience desirable

Forklift ticket (or willing to obtain)

Strong diagnostic skills

Sound computer skills

ABOUT SMH EQUIPMENT:

We’re a Queensland based civil-earthmoving rental and repairs business. We’ve established our services within the Central-West region over the last 16 years and recently having expanded our services to the East Coast region, opening a facility in Townsville. We help the Queensland civil market access quality earthmoving rental equipment and repair solutions. As business continues to grow, we’re keen to find out next team member to support the development in our Mount Isa operations.
