Founded by Ryan Gill, Switched On WA (SOWA) has expanded to include Electric Vehicle Charging Installations (EVCI), a dedicated service designed to meet the rising demand for EV chargers. With co-owner Mitch Skender’s extensive expertise, our team delivers safe, high-quality installations supported by in-depth industry knowledge.

EVCI is a leader in the EV charger installation industry, servicing both residential and commercial sectors. Our mission is to support the transition to electric mobility by providing dedicated, high-quality installation services. As electric vehicle adoption continues to grow, we are expanding our team to meet the increasing demand for expert EV infrastructure, home energy solutions, and general electrical work across residential and commercial premises in Perth.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of EV chargers

Load management, CPO systems, and smart home integration

Additional electrical work through our sister company, including system design, installation, diagnostics, and maintenance

Involvement in air-conditioning installations, maintenance, and repairs for both commercial and residential locations

Entry into the solar and home battery installation market, involving installation and servicing

Residential wiring, renovations, and ongoing real estate maintenance and compliance work

Qualifications and Requirements:

Licensed electrician with experience in residential and commercial settings

Proficient in fault diagnosis, switchboard upgrades, and maintenance

Experience with solar and battery systems (preferred)

Minimum certification 2 in A/C and split system installations (preferred)

CEC accreditation (preferred)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Competent with digital tools (e.g., ServiceM8)

Committed to safety, cleanliness, and delivering high-quality work

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Licenses and Certifications:

A-Grade WA Electrical License

White Card

Valid Australian Driver’s License

EWP, Working at Heights, First Aid (preferred)

National Police Clearance
