Key Responsibilities:

Truck Driving & Deliveries

• Operate a manual MR truck safely and efficiently.
• Collect used drums from customers and deliver reconditioned drums as per schedules.
• Secure and transport drums safely, ensuring compliance with load restraint regulations.
• Plan delivery routes for efficiency and on-time service.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.

Drum Reconditioning & Handling

• Inspect drums for damage and sort them based on reconditioning requirements.
• Clean, remove residues, and refurbish used drums following safety protocols.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, paint sprayers, and leak-testing tools.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and hazardous material handling regulations.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow workplace safety protocols, including the handling of hazardous residues.
• Comply with waste disposal and environmental guidelines.
• Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
• Report any vehicle issues, safety hazards, or damaged drums.

Customer Service & Documentation

• Maintain professional interactions with customers during pickups and deliveries.
• Complete all required paperwork, including delivery dockets, logbooks, and inspection reports.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues.

Requirements:

✔ Valid MR (Medium Rigid) truck license (Manual)
✔ Experience driving manual MR trucks and making deliveries
✔ Previous experience in drum reconditioning, waste management, or industrial cleaning (preferred)
✔ Good understanding of safe drum handling, load securing, and waste disposal practices
✔ Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle drums
✔ Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and physically demanding environment
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
✔ Clean driving record (provide recent driving history report)
