TDN is seeking Part Time Domestic Assistants to cover the suburbs of Launceston and surrounds.

Key Responsibilities

As a Domestic Assistant, you will:

· Perform general household tasks such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping

· Support clients with washing, drying, ironing and folding clothes and linen

· Help with meal preparation and light kitchen duties

· Unaccompanied grocery shopping and other errands as needed

· Ensure the home environment is safe and report any concerns

· Provide friendly companionship and engage in friendly conversation to identify the clients wants, needs and requirements.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a compassionate, motivated individual with:

· A passion for client service.

· A commitment to empower client’s choice. dignity and independence.

· Ability to work autonomously and responsibly.

· Basic tech skills.

· An ability to perform in a physically demanding role

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively

You will need

Essential Requirements:

· A valid unrestricted driver license as well as a registered and insured roadworthy vehicle to drive within the community from home to home.

· National Police Check and Working with vulnerable people check (employee)

· Current first aid certificate
