An exciting opportunity exists for a FACEM Specialist to join the high acuity Emergency Department at a University Hospital which is a tertiary referral centre.

Emergency Department - 100,000 presentations annually, with 20% paediatric patients treated in the dedicated 12 bed paediatric area. The admission rate sits at 30%, and they consistently achieve 95% ambulance off-stretcher targets a testament to the efficiency and excellence of the team.

About the role
As a Staff Specialist you will:

• Provide clinical care across adult and paediatric emergency, Short Stay Unit, and Frailty Intervention Team.
• Participate in aeromedical retrieval coordination
• Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and research.
• Support clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

About you

• Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in both adult and paediatric emergency medicine
• Highly desirable: Pre-hospital/aeromedical retrieval experience or qualifications
