We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer with strong APAC and international payroll expertise to join a leading organisation on a 3-month contract with an immediate start. You'll be working within a supportive finance team of seven. Based in the Sydney CBD, the position offers a hybrid model - the first two weeks in-office, followed by three days working from home.

What you'll be doing:

• Oversee end-to-end payroll across multiple regions.
• Ensure payroll processes remain compliant with relevant legislation.
• Support the employee lifecycle including onboarding, exits, and changes.
• Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries from staff and managers.
• Maintain strong controls and accurate payroll data.
• Contribute to payroll reviews and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Manage statutory obligations and reporting requirements.
• Assist with regular and year-end payroll activities.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and UK payroll operations.
• Hands-on experience conducting payroll audits.
• Ability to work across global teams (APAC, US, UK time zones).
• Familiarity with Rippling and NetSuite (advantageous, not essential).
