About the position
As a key member of the ARM Hub executive team, you will lead a high-performing group, collaborate closely with fellow executives, and drive the Hub’s national mission to accelerate data and AI-powered industrial transformation.
The role requires experience as a Client Manager. Reporting to the Director of Business & Research Partnerships, the Director AI Adopt Centre delivers ARM Hub’s largest Federal Government partnership program as well as the Data-as-a-Service (DAAS) offering for all ARM Hub programs. In this role you will manage partnerships with our delivery partner organisations to scope, broker and manage DAAS engagements that help companies test and scale practical data and AI solutions. You will build new offerings for our clients to meet emerging industry and stakeholder needs that also align to the strategic goals of the ARM Hub.
Success is measured by commercial returns, industry impact and the development of a high performing team and partnerships.
In this role you will help:
• Spearhead a nimble delivery team and provide leadership to ARM Hub staff and partners.
• Champion the AI Adopt Centre nationally – articulate its value proposition to industrial businesses, investors and government, and convert interest into active DAAS projects.
• Scope high-value data and AI use-cases – diagnose business challenges, map data and AI readiness and design project pathways from proof-of-concept/delivery to company deployment.
• Orchestrate delivery – as required, assemble cross-functional teams of ARM Hub data scientists, roboticists and domain experts; manage budgets, timelines and risk to deliver outcomes.
• Drive adoption at scale – coach client teams through change-management, measure ROI and capture impact studies that inspire wider industry uptake.
• Curate outcome-focused workshops – evaluate and prioritise client self-assessments, design and facilitate hands-on sessions that surface client pain-points and translate them into funded data and AI projects.
• Leverage and help build ARM Hub’s broader programs to have a data and AI value proposition – weaving DAAS into ARM Hub’s Australian Manufacturing Capability Network and other scale-up initiatives.
• Build strategic networks – maintain valuable relationships across industry, government and research to source deal-flow and co-investment.
• Report impact – track KPIs, company impact, prepare funding proposals, demonstration and acquittals, showcasing program success to stakeholders, sponsors and future clients.
