About This Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to take part in the cutting-edge MIRRA-funded INSPIRE Feasibility and Pilot Trial. Your role in this trial will be delivering manualised CBT and VRET interventions, conduct screening and post-intervention assessments, and contribute to intervention co-design, data collection, and dissemination activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Clinical service delivery: conducting candidate screening and diagnostic interviews, assisting with integrating VR technology into therapeutic practice, providing in person and telehealth therapy sessions, and monitoring participant progress.
- Intervention development and co-design: co-design VRET scenarios and CBT manuals, developing exposure hierarchies and integration into VR environments, and ensuring interventions are evidence based and clinically appropriate for end-users.
- Research and evaluation: managing trial data in accordance with ethical standards and contributing to feasibility and safety assessments of interventions.
- Collaboration and engagement: working within a multidisciplinary research team, engaging with the Consumer Advisory Group, and liaising with external partners and healthcare providers.
