Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? The Personnel Group is seeking a motivated and people-focused Employment Services Team Leader to support the effective delivery of employment programs across a designated region.

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends operational support with strategic contribution. You’ll work closely with frontline staff and the Employment Services Manager to drive performance, foster team culture, and ensure service excellence.

This is a full-time position based in the Riverina region, with flexibility to work from any of The Personnel Group’s operational sites within the area. The role requires regular travel across the region ( Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Leeton, Deniliquin, Shepparton) and, when necessary, to other locations within our broader national footprint. A company vehicle is included as part of the remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities:

As an emerging leader within our national leadership team, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to frontline staff across your region
  • Assist in managing business operations and ensuring contract compliance
  • Support the Employment Services Manager in executing local strategies and performance initiatives
  • Contribute to service delivery outcomes through hands-on operational involvement
  • Foster a positive team culture and promote continuous improvement
  • Ensure staff compliance with all Personnel Group policies and procedures
  • Represent The Personnel Group in local engagements and stakeholder interactions
  • Travel within the region to support service delivery and team engagement

Qualifications and experience:

You’re a proactive team player with a passion for helping others succeed. You bring:

  • Experience in employment services or related operational roles
  • Some leadership experience, with a desire to grow into senior leadership
  • Qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services, or Frontline Management (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to team success
  • Ability to balance frontline delivery with strategic and administrative support
  • Willingness to travel across multiple service areas
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements: NDIS Worker Clearance, Police Check, and Working with Children Check
  • A current driver’s licence
