About the role

We are seeking an experienced VR General Practitioner to join our growing medical practice in Blacktown, NSW. As a full-time General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse community. 75% of billings for full-time and 70% for the part time depending on experience and qualification (negotiable).

Signing-on bonus.

Choice of Part-time or Full-time or locum positions.

6month Locum available for GP on moratorium + another 6month at additional location if desired for total of 12 month locum placement.

An active patient base of 10000+ patients. Very busy practice, can easily see 4-6 patients an hour.

1500+ MyMedicare Patients

Accredited practice.

Onsite pathology.

Support from an experienced Registered Nurse 5 days a week.

Additional support from experienced reception staff and practice manager and GP colleagues.

Fully computerized & well equipped facility.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive consultations and examinations to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging

Providing preventative care, including health screenings and immunisations

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Staying informed of the latest medical advancements and best practices within the industry

What we're looking for

Fully registered medical practitioner with a valid AHPRA registration

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues

Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining up-to-date medical knowledge

Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record systems

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
